As you know, Wolfe is a pretty common name in England and Germany, where so many Americans came from. Are you interested in the Navaho wolf myths? I don't know if they would fit in with your site, as they are not very complimentary to wolves (also called skinwalkers or Navaho witches). Still, I think it is interesting anthropological material. Tony Hillerman treats the myths at length in several of his books, but I think there are sociology texts, too. Apparently, to this day, there are occasionally revenge killings when someone thinks a Navaho wolf has hexed his or her family. By the way, lo tengo en tremendo aprecio.
