Truth about the artist # 6
|
 |
Okay, okay...
I believe you really want it.
But now, you HAVE to read all this dull stuff.
My name's really Eugene Arenhaus. I am 23, and my family status is
open to suggestions. Currently, I am a graduate student of the
Haifa Technion (the biggest university of Israel), so you should guess
I live in Haifa city in Israel. I study Expert Systems at Medical Science
faculty (pretty strange huh?). I also work as a supporter for NetVision
Ltd (that's an ISP company) to provide living standards of... my PC.
I call myself an artist; you'd better decide for yourself whether I'm
right. I enjoy drawing; I've been drawing since childhood. Now I've got
enough self-confidence to think that it's not a shame to show my art
to the public. No rough pencil sketches though. I would accept commissions,
pricing is decided individually. Both paper and computer-aided art.
My dad's an artist too, and he's five heads above me. I can only dream of
his mastery with paintbrush and his color sense. His advices are priceless;
thanks dad!
I also have programming skills, but won't do programming if I'm
not very interested in the project - I've had enough of it already.
My language of choice is Pascal (if it's Dos) or Delphi (if it's
Windows.) If you say that C++ is better - your choice. First do
with C++ something remotely resembling what I've done with Pascal.
My favorite occupation is reading; I even wrote some short stories myself.
(My poetry is rotten. Don't ask me for it.) I prefer SF, but not Star Trek
sort. I'm stuck with Heinlein, Lem, Bradbury, Simak and other old fashioned
authors. I love classic music, classic rock, and hate rap.
As you may notice, my drawings bear signs of strong influence of Disney
style. No wonder - this is what I used to learn the trade. I still
think that Disney studio have done the great work, and there's much to
learn from them.
I am not an RPG fan, but had run a SF club for 2 years, and had been an
eager Tolkien follower for a long time.
Well, if you want more meaningless data about my persona... okay,
send me a mail.
