A commissioned piece, and sure it gave me a run for my money. Why? Because no one has ever seen a marsupial lion. These animals are long extinct, and the only reference are several mock-ups and skeletons. The animal sure was interesting to tweak, because its form differs from the mammals everyone is used to. It's interesting to note also, that the player of this character has commissioned drawings of him from at least ten artists, and it is very neat to see how different people render the same description. (Perhaps all drawings will be published online for us to see.) Computer painting. |
